Pearl Tone Studios is the personal home recording studio of engineer and producer Jonathan Nesvadba.

Jonathan is the studio assistant for the multiplatinum recording artist, DJ and producer, Moby. He is also a freelance sound engineer in Hollywood and the surrounding Los Angeles area.

Before moving to L.A., Jonathan lived in Austin, TX where he was active performing in the city’s eclectic live music scene.  For 7 years he was staff engineer at the studios of the UT Butler School of Music where he regularly recorded opera, jazz and orchestral ensembles. During his time in Austin, he also worked with the 70’s country music star Larry Gatlin, regularly recording demos in Larry’s personal recording studio.

Jonathan originally built Pearl Tone Studios to create a fun space to record his friends and to collaborate on projects that inspire him. The setup is suited for tracking a live band or a solo artist. The studio has been installed in the bottom floor of a 1930’s Arts and Crafts bungalow near downtown Los Angeles.
